After every client we take 10 minutes to go through protocol to ensure no cross contamination or any possible.
Step One: remove all disposable items such as, head rest cover, gloves, gauze, pigment ring, masks, shower cap, client bib and any needles or blades(which go into the red hazards container so it can later be disposed of properly)
Step Two: we then take a disinfectant wipe that follows all FDA approved regulations,which is called Caviwipes1 made by Merex, and we wipe the contaminated area. Such as the head rest of the client, the tray of the technician, tattoo machine, pigment bottles, light handles, and even the seat of the technician,
Step Three: set up the seat and tray with all new sterile disposables and barrier up with a plastic covers.
